I’ve recently started doing my own gel nails at home, and I’m wondering about the best curing method. I’ve heard a lot about UV/LED curing, but I’m not sure which one is better or why it’s so important. Do any of you use UV or LED lamps, and what are the real benefits of using them? I’ve read that the curing process can make or break a gel manicure, but I’m still trying to figure it all out.

Great question! Both UV and LED curing have their advantages, but LED lamps are generally faster. With an LED lamp, your nails will cure in a fraction of the time compared to UV lamps. The downside is that UV lamps typically work with a wider range of gel polishes, whereas some gels may only work with LED. That said, I’ve been using Kodi professional gel polishes with my LED lamp, and they’ve given me great results. The combination of high-quality gels and quick curing helps me get salon-quality nails at home, saving time while ensuring a strong and lasting finish. If you're looking for a reliable UV/LED lamp and high-quality gel products, you can find more options on this website. In my experience, LED lamps are more energy-efficient too, which is always a plus.
