About Us

Black Swan Country Club is a must-play public golf destination located on Boston's scenic North Shore. Originally built in 1990, the course is nestled on 120 acres in bucolic Georgetown, Massachusetts. Black Swan's multi-story, 38,000 square, foot Victorian-style building overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course that was designed by the legendary New England golf course architect, Philip Wogan.

Black Swan combines a traditional New England setting with a luxurious country club ambiance. The course has undergone dramatic improvements since its re-establishment in 2010. We have constructed new tee boxes, modified green complexes, replaced all the sand in the bunkers with crushed limestone, added a central irrigation system, engineered a pragmatic tree removal program and widened key landing areas.

Today the course is an acclaimed public golf haven known for its superb condition, picturesque layout, and friendly atmosphere. Named Best of North Shore For Public Golf from 2013 to 2017, the golf course continues to be the venue of choice for area golfers. Make the trip to Black Swan and you can be the judge!

Only 35-minutes from Boston and 20-minutes from the New Hampshire seacoast, Black Swan is easily accessible to golfers throughout the region. Golfers of all ability levels can find the course challenging, yet quite navigable. With 5 sets of tees, and yardages ranging from 5,200-to-6,800, there is a course length that will fit your game. Whether you are a guest or a member, you will always be welcomed with warm hospitality, an exceptionally maintained golf course, and a quality food & beverage service that will keep you coming back.
